When And How Will You Receive It?

According to the arrangement for NRIC-Pay Now pairing with participating banks such as DBS POSB, OCBC and UOB, pay outs will begin on 5 January 2026. Citizens who have already linked their NRIC should check and update their bank information by 7 January 2026 to receive their pay outs on time. Those who have not yet linked their bank account details will have until 7 January to provide this information for payments by mid-January. People who miss the deadline can choose to receive their payment through Gov Cash instead. Withdrawals can be made at any bank using a reference number provided on the gov benefits website. Users will receive updates through a notification letter or SMS sent to the phone number registered on their go.sg account, as well as through their email address.

Why This Matters Now
